Grahame Oakey- Artist in wood- is an established maker of fine bespoke furniture with almost 20 years experience across many aspects of woodworking. Whether it be faithful reproductions of fine classical furniture or uniquely contemporary furniture, he is known for meticulous attention to detail in quality of design and craft. Grahame applies a quest for excellence at the core of all his work, from the outset.
 
With over 200 species of timber/veneer available he chooses those with appropriate mechanical and aesthetic properties- all from merchants supplied by sustainable forests. He is a specialist in curved woodworking whether solid timber or veneer. His clients have varied requirements covering different disciplines of woodworking with outstanding quality.
